​Annie and I painted the inflatable ball to look like the moon. It was a fun challenge to paint onto a 3D surface, which needed translucent paint applied as it was lit up from inside but also had to be durable so the audience could throw them around, We created two identical moons using paints with glaze in different grey tones, using sponge stamps and other tools to emulate moon shapes as well as masking off areas with copydex.
